Description
Just me having a screenshot from Scooby Doo! Curse of the Lake Monster and a wanting to complain about Fred's looks (though Scooby isn't much better).
When it comes to the newer movies, I think the plots aren't overly fantastic and the acting could be better, but I do think they did a good job when it came to the gang's costumes, with the exception of Fred, that is. WHY does he have dark hair and where the hell is the ascot?!
However, I did laugh a little when he and Daphne hid as those mannequins later on, and his approval when he saw his reflection. I love references, but why couldn't he just be blonde?
On another note, I think that there should be made a Scooby-movie, which is made more from the POV of the characters than the audience. I mean, 'Scooby Doo' has never been scary to anyone but the characters themselves, so I don't see why Warner Bros. don't let go of most of the humour and make it a little more serious. They could in the very least do it, when we're talking live-action.

It's a sad day when the prop looks more like the target character than the actual character. Maybe the mannequin would even give a better performance.
